Sorry if I am a bit off topic for the list, however trying to get the
most experience at once as well as the best answer.

I am working on a CAS implementation, and I want to make sure I
understand the existing documentation I have found. I have worked in
customizing Sakai for use with the LDAP systems which of course I had to
develop some code for. However based on the documentation at:

http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/ENTR/CASifying+Sakai

Do I understand it correctly, that when setting up CAS with Apache using
a mod_cas configuration that I do NOT need to make changes or update any
existing Sakai code? If so, how is the userid passed into Sakai? Is
that done because of setting 'container.auth=true' in the
sakai.properties file? As well as the changes in the login.vm?

Thanks in advance.

Kevin
